I have been capturing weddings since 2009. I’ve shot weddings internationally, including Sweden, France, New York and even Yosemite in America. You can check out some of them in the 'Wedding' section. Weddings are such a special event and it has been an honour being a part of so many couples' special days. In 2015 my own partner Emily (below) joined me at weddings to help me record them to their fullest extent to ensure Peter Buncombe Photography captures all the important moments.
I have a BA in Photography and as well as Wedding and Events Photography, I have also taught photography at Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts. Here, I had the pleasure of teaching students from all over the world.
I love photography and couldn't imagine a life where I wasn't actively involved in the medium all the time. I love to travel and capture the world around me. You can see some of our travel photography in the 'documentary' section.

EMILY STARR
Second Photographer
I started out taking wedding photos with Pete in 2015 in the impressive location of the Barbican in London. I act as second photographer which means you get two perspectives on your wedding and allows Pete to essentially be in two places at once.
Since the Barbican I have assisted in over 30 weddings and have also photographed a funeral and numerous theatre productions.
My background is in theatre and I have a BA in Performance and regularly direct and perform in theatre productions in and around Cambridgeshire with links to Cambridge Theatre Company, Festival Players and Wilburton Theatre Group.
In 2019, I graduated from an MA in Creative Events Management, so I understand the time and effort (and money) it takes to put on a successful event which is why Pete and I aim to be as stress-free as possible and just capture those incredible moments that make the event so special.
When I am not in the theatre, or at a wedding, you will find me in my day job as a Lifestyles Co-ordinator at a care home.
